“Four”ward Thinking: Outreach and Enrollment Tools for Marketplace Open Enrollment Period 4

Dear Partners,

We are only two weeks away from November 1, the beginning of the fourth Marketplace open enrollment period. We’re excited to share this toolkit with you, our outreach and enrollment partners. Together, we’ll add to the 20 million individuals who already gained access to health insurance through the Affordable Care Act!

To support your efforts to inform consumers about their coverage options, we’ve again teamed up with Spitfire Strategies to develop the following materials:

Communications Best Practices: An updated guide to the strategies to help you amplify your enrollment efforts and share your success.

Talking Points: A guide to assist you in promoting the marketplace and providing guidance about rates and plan options this open enrollment.

Sample Blog Post/Newsletter Content: A short piece that you can add to your open enrollment editorial calendar.

#HealthyAdulting Toolkit: This campaign from Young Invincibles provides critical resources to engage Millennials on all things ACA, from enrollment to coverage to care.

As you make your final preparations for open enrollment, please let us know if you have any questions. Please also send us any outreach materials you’ve assembled, as we’d be happy to share examples with other states.

Keep an eye out for additional resources, including a number of social media graphics, to kick off the open enrollment period on November 1.
