Nell O’Connell is a Senior Grants Manager at Community Catalyst. In this role, Nell assists with the development and implementation of Community Catalyst’s strategic grant-making agenda by providing technical assistance to staff and grantees, managing the proposal and award process, monitoring grants, and assisting in evaluating our grant-making impact.

Previously, Nell served as a project administrator for the Center for Child Health Care Studies at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, where she provided administrative and grant assistance to the center and its faculty members. Earlier in her career, Nell worked at the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association, which solidified her interest in health care and policy.

Nell received bachelor’s degrees in political science and French from Loyola University Maryland. While at Community Catalyst, Nell completed her master’s in non-profit management from the University of New Hampshire.
