Kristen McGlaston

Policy Analyst, Dental Access Project

As a Policy Analyst for the Dental Access Project, Kristen provides policy expertise on state and national oral health care issues. Prior to joining Community Catalyst, she worked in health equity research at the National Institute of Health - National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIH-NIAMS). While at NIH, Kristen's research focused on health disparities in low-income neighborhoods in Virginia and Maryland.

Kristen holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology-Zoology from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in Society, Human Development and Health with a concentration in Health Communications from Harvard School of Public Health.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
