State Advocacy Manager, Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation
Jenny Chiang serves as the State Advocacy Manager at Community Catalyst’s Center for Consumer Engagement in Health Innovation. In this role, she manages relationships with state and community-based advocacy organizations across the country working to promote health equity policies and practices and to establish consumer friendly health care systems, particularly for communities of color and low income populations.
Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Jenny served as the Executive Director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American Commission. Before that, she worked alongside community leaders in her work with UMass Boston, the Boston Public Health Commission, and the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence. Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Asian American Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College concentrating in Health and Mental Health Policy.
