As Associate Director of External Affairs, Jennifer is part of the team representing Community Catalyst in Washington, DC and with national partner organizations in support of the full range of the organization’s priority issues. In this role, she served as a resource and consultant to state-based leadership on political and public policy issues that impact individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain and spinal cord injuries, and emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges. In November of 2013, Jennifer was elected to the Board of Aldermen in Melrose, MA where she currently represents the residents of ward 2. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in social work from Boston College.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
