Diane M. Felicio

Interim Executive Director and COO

Diane is the interim Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Community Catalyst. Diane is responsible for making sure that Community Catalyst is proactively and boldly exceeding its goals, advancing its mission, and promoting its vision. Diane oversees the development and implementation of organizational strategy, goals, and evaluation. She manages Board relations and works directly with the Board chair and president on all Board matters. Human Resources, Finance, IT (including knowledge management), and Communications report directly to the COO as does the Chief Program Officer.

In her last role as Director of Resource and Business Development at Community Catalyst, Diane worked with the organization's senior leadership and program staff to engage local, regional and national funders, as well as individual donors, in the work of Community Catalyst and health care organizations across the country. Prior to shifting her professional focus to fundraising, Diane held various roles in the academic sector, including faculty, research, and senior administrative positions working closely with college presidents, provosts, and deans.

Diane is a trained mediator and studied at several programs, including the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation. She serves on the advisory board of The Boston Foundation's Equality Fund and previously served on the boards of Stonewall Communities, the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy, and the Vermont Women's Health Center.

Diane holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Adelphi University, and a master's degree and doctoral degree in social psychology from The University of Vermont.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
