Diane M. Felicio

Director of Resource and Business Development

Diane is responsible for overseeing development for Community Catalyst. In this role, she works with the organization's senior leadership and program staff to engage local, regional and national funders, as well as individual donors, in the work of Community Catalyst and health care organizations across the country. Prior to shifting her professional focus to philanthropy and fundraising, Diane held various roles in the academic sector, including faculty, research, and senior administrative positions working closely with college presidents, provosts, and deans.

Diane entered the field of Development in 2000 at The University of Vermont where she revitalized corporate and foundation fundraising, and went on to Simmons College where she secured several notable gifts from prominent national foundations. Diane is a trained mediator and studied with internationally recognized mediators and negotiators at several programs, including the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation. Diane serves on the advisory board of The Boston Foundation's Equality Fund. She is a member of The Boston Club and served as co-chair of the club's Mentoring Program. She has served on the board of Stonewall Communities, the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy, and the Vermont Women's Health Center. While at Simmons, she was chair of the College's Diversity Council.

Diane holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Adelphi University, and a master's degree and doctoral degree in social psychology from The University of Vermont.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
