Celeste Davis

State Advocacy Manager , Children’s Health Initiative

Celeste Davis serves as State Advocacy Manager for the Children’s Health Initiative supporting state and local advocates on cutting-edge health advocacy campaigns. Celeste offers technical assistance and coaching to advocacy groups on the skills needed for successful policy change to expand coverage, access and benefits and strengthen opportunities for prevention for children.

Prior to working at Community Catalyst, Celeste was a consultant at Forward Solutions where she also helped grow their social determinants of health portfolio. Her work experience includes leadership roles at Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation at Harvard Law School where she conducted health policy research as a Senior Fellow and the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors where she provided technical assistance programming.

Celeste currently teaches public health at American University. She holds a law degree from Boston University and a Masters of Public Health from University of Michigan. 

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
