The Position:

The Associate Director of the Women’s Health Program (WHP) is responsible for assisting the Director with day-to-day management of the program. The key responsibilities for this position are described below. The scope of the job responsibilities is likely to evolve from time to time as the Director and Associate Director identify the best ways to manage the program.

The person in this position will collaborate with other CC department/program Associate Directors, staff across the organization, and at other partner organizations, especially in the women’s health advocacy field. This position participates in direction and management of the national Raising Women’s Voices initiative, which the WHP co-coordinates with the Black Women’s Health Imperative and the National Women’s Health Network.

The person in this position will play a key role in ensuring the quality, constituency and tracking of our technical assistance to state and local organizations that are part of the Raising Women’s Voices initiative, while working with the Director to expand the WHP’s scope of programmatic work and foundation support.


The Associate Director is supervised by the Women’s Health Program Director.
