Generics Are Powerful Medicine

Generics Are Powerful Medicine (GPM) is a national program that uses grassroots outreach to educate low-income and underinsured people about the safety, value and effectiveness of generic drugs. The two-year project is a joint effort of Community Catalyst and faculty from Harvard Medical School. GPM assists community-based organizations reach consumers by providing training and education materials including a short video, an easy-to-understand brochure, print materials and a website. Organizations in the following states are implementing the GPM program in their communities: California, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and West Virginia.
