Sign-On Deadline Extended

Dear Partners:

Last Friday, we invited you to sign on to a letter to President Obama and Members of Congress advocating for the inclusion of the best affordability provisions from each bill: the House language for people below 250 percent of the federal poverty level and the Senate language for those above. The importance of this effort cannot be overstated. This truly is our last chance to improve the affordability protections in the final legislation.

So far, we have received support from 272 organizations, professional associations, and elected officials in 35 states across the country. Because our partners are continuing to reach out to their networks and submissions keep rolling in, we have decided to extend the deadline for sign-ons to Tuesday, December 22.

ACTION STEPS:

  • If you haven't already, sign on to this letter asking the President and Congress to use the House language for people earning up to 250 percent FPL and the Senate language for those earning above 250 percent FPL by filling in the online form or emailing your information to Jennifer Collier (jcollier@communitycatalyst.org) no later than 5pm EST on Tuesday, December 22.
  • If you have already signed on, please help us to broaden the list of supporters from your state. Forward the link to your partners, stress the importance of this last-chance effort, and ask them to sign on to the letter.

Thank you for dedication and continued advocacy.

Sincerely,

Community Catalyst National Health Reform Team
