National Health Reform
For the past two decades, states have been the locus of health care reform in this country. State consumer advocacy efforts are improving health outcomes and serving as a road map for achieving national reform. As a result, meaningful national health reform is on the horizon for the first time in many years.
Advocates’ collaborative work has increased public awareness and demand for a more accessible and affordable health care system. State advocates have important lessons to share with policy makers. Community Catalyst supports states in their efforts to shape the national debate.
