BOSTON, MA – New England Alliance for Children’s Health (NEACH), a Community Catalyst initiative, has worked to ensure quality health care for Children since its 2006 inception. On December 3, Connecticut Voices for Children honored NEACH at its First for Kids 2009 Celebration with the Transformational Policy Leadership Award.

“The Alliance’s collaborative efforts have helped state advocates achieve results that they would not be able to achieve on their own,” said Connecticut Voices for Children, citing NEACH’s efforts to protect the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Medicaid. The organization especially thanked Amy Rosenthal, Community Catalyst’s director of external affairs and the director of NEACH. “She is both a great communicator and a thoughtful listener, …bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to improve children’s health.”

NEACH continues its tireless efforts to promote high-quality, accessible health care coverage for children on both the state and national level.
